The European Union wanted us to let you know that cookies are part of a healthy, consensual HTTP diet.
The European Parliament decided that all the citizens of Europe, something something something, should be notified that the way enhanced websites work is by saving user preferences with a small file on their computers, tablets, or smartphones, called an HTTP cookie. The cookie can store information related to your visit, and advertisers and Internet mega corporations can use their cookies to compile among other details, Internet addresses you've visited. This technology performs essential functions of communication and commerce, allowing websites to have interactive features, and to track advertising use, which keeps the Internet's digestive juices at a normal pH level. You are encouraged to do your own due diligence.
